I can’t believe he’s 8!

Wow… My little boy, my baby, my youngest, turned eight years old yesterday. It seems unreal that he could possibly be that old.

This was my baby boy just a few short hours after he was born… I remember it like it was yesterday… So how can you tell me it’s been 8 years?

My sweet boy with his favorite blanket. He loved it so much that we had to buy two, just in case one was in the dirty laundry.

I loved all the faces I got those first few months! 🙂

It’s funny the things you remember, and the things that scare you as a mom. That toe was ALWAYS at a angle his first year, or maybe year and a half. I wouldn’t put shoes on him because I was always scared I would hurt him, even though the pediatrician assured me time and time again that it was completely normal.

The face we got when anyone but mommy held him. 🙂 It’s funny how then it was so frustrating, but now I kind of miss those days.

He was so beautiful when he was sleeping… Which I’m sure it felt like he never did. We actually ended up co-sleeping, which I swore I’d never do, because I felt like it was the only way we’d ever sleep again.

I should have known from this very look that sleeping in a crib wouldn’t happen. 🙂 But look at all that cute chubbiness!

Another peaceful sleeping picture… Look at those adorable hands!

Big brother’s new best friend… Or something like that. He managed to crawl up into his brother’s favorite dump truck, so brother decided to take him for a ride!

And it didn’t end there… Yes, big brother tried to lock him in the toy box.

But he got his revenge “Don’t worry mom, I’ve got this.”

And he has grown up into this AMAZING little boy who brings a smile to my face every single day!

Happy Birthday Kyle

Thank you, my sweet little boy, for bringing so much joy to my heart! Thank you for being the amazing boy that you are. I love you with all my heart, I wish you all the joy that you bring to everyone you meet.

Coping With Stress

Hi there everybody! I hope that you’ve had a wonderful week. Mine was… challenging. I had some changes at work that I am still trying to adjust to, and my poor oldest is sick with bronchitis. The hubs is getting ready to head out for the week, so I’ll be spending the day getting him ready to go and making sure that he doesn’t forget anything.

This week, while coping with stress, I’ve been having fun playing with the hubs’ coffee thermos, and letting him know how I feel about him each and every morning… It’s a lot of fun (he thinks it’s hilarious too) and as long as it’s done with a dry erase marker, it just wipes right off!

It’s been a rough week…

So, I can’t lie to you. It’s been a rough week. Getting back into the work/school routine has been less than fun… And I didn’t play the Power Ball, so I have no chance of having won and not going back. 😉 Don’t get me wrong, I love my job, but we came back to school to find that two of my favorite students were transferring to different schools… It took everything in me to not cry at school.

On to something positive…

Training Trigger is going good! I can say that he is almost 100% housebroken, walks super great on the leash, and does perfect in his crate. Plus, he’s such a love bug! He tends to be a bit of a lap baby, but I’m okay with that. 🙂 I was able to get in touch with someone who got a puppy from a previous litter from his breeder (same mom and dad) and they said that their pup who is just over a year old now weighs 110 pounds! I may need to get the lap baby thing in check soon, but I really enjoy all the love…

As you can see, Trigger loves when I come home from work! He laid on me and wouldn't let me up when I got home from work!

My Favorite Amazon Items This Week…

As you can see in the photo above, I have a brand new phone case. It is AMAZING! I have to have a wallet phone case, because I am constantly forgetting my driver’s license and debit card in either my purse or yesterday’s blue jeans, so this one is kinda perfect. What makes it completely perfect is that it has a removable magnetic case for your phone. It also has three separate slots for cash, receipts, and whatever other loose papers that you may have.

We’ve had so much rain these last few weeks that I’ve been desperately needing rain boots (especially when my front yard turned into a pond!). I searched and searched, and finally found these cute and affordable ones! They are available in several different prints, but I got these black ones with white polka dots with the intentions of adding my monogram in red. I’ll have to update the photos when I finally get a few minutes to add the monogram.

Getting Healthier…
